Foundation Review: Revlon Nearly Naked.

As a typical pale Irish girl, it’s often hard to find a foundation on the highstreet with all your requirements. This time, I was looking for a natural, not too matte and slightly dewy foundation. Something that looks effortless on the skin but hides all my blemishes. I had seen a few reviews of this foundation online, so I popped into Boots and had a look. The shade I picked up was 120 Vanilla, for only €10.99 as there was a sale- bonus! I had previously been using a sample of an Estee Lauder foundation, and I was pleased to see that this shade is so similar.

I think I’ve found my new love. It actually does look a bit darker than my skin tone in the bottle, but I have a lot of freckles and once applied it blends in beautifully. It hides redness, evens out the skin and looks so fresh and natural once applied. I adore it! Not only that, but it lasts for hours too, something I like in a foundation, as I need it to last the full school day.

The only downside about this fabulous foundation is that there is a limited range of shades. I only saw about 8 in my local Boots, however there may be more in larger stores! If you have oily/combination skin like me, I would highly recommend this foundation. I find it best to apply a primer underneath for extra lasting power. As a Revlon newbie, I am extremely impressed and will definitely be buying from them again!
