Spring Makeup Tutorial.

Spring is thankfully beginning to make an appearance. The evenings are getting a bit longer, the daffodils are out , and everybody’s in a slightly better mood! While it might not be warm enough to fully embrace your spring summer wardrobe just yet, you can certainly add some spring colours to your makeup routine! Today I’ve gone for a pastel green eye look paired with a muted pink lip, and I’m going to show you how I did it!

Step One

To begin, blend the Inglot shadow in 328 into the crease and up towards the brow using a big fluffy brush.

Step Two

Using a denser, more tapered brush, blend the Inglot shadow in 337 into the crease. When blending this colour out, don’t bring it up as high as the first colour.

Step Three

Using a flat shadow brush, pack “Absinthe-Minded” from Palette D’Antoinette onto the lid, being careful not to blend it upwards as this will cause the look to get quite muddy.

Step Four

Using a tiny bit of “Carol” by Anam Cosmetics, define the line between the green and the browns.

Step Five

Using whats left of “Carol” on the brush, line under the eye, keeping the line soft and blended out.

Step Six

Add a big cateye flick using the Stargazer Tattoo Liner in 1. Also add a tiny bit of the Inglot shadow in 35 to the browbone and inner corner.

Step Seven

Using the Stargazer Tattoo Liner in 13, add a white line above your black flick. This step isn’t necessary but it’s something a little bit different and lightens the look!

Finally, add a lashing of mascara and you’re set!

For the rest of the face I kept things simple, using a sheer foundation and gently contouring with the Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel for a very natural look. The light pink lip makes for a great daytime look but why not try pairing this eye look with a deep red to kick it up a notch for a night out!
