The Velveteen Rabbit…

Dublin’s best kept home and interiors secret is about to explode onto the scene this coming Monday in the form of  an amazing pop up shop. Located at 140 Baggot St Lower, The Velveteen Rabbit features some of the most amazing hand sourced pre loved and re worked antiques you are going to find in Ireland. Owner Zoe Carney’s impeccable style is evident in each and every carefully selected piece. She credits her trips to the USA at a young age for opening her eyes to the wonder and character found in pre loved furniture, and has carried this aesthetic with her while sourcing pieces for The Velveteen Rabbit. The range is diverse in ways, from shabby chic at it’s finest to pieces that look like they have been lifted straight from Versailles.  If you are looking for a truly unique piece of furniture for your home, this is definitely the place for you! Not only will you be able to buy some seriously drool-worthy furniture, but there will be gorgeous smaller finishing touches for the home too.

Below is a  sneak peak of an amazing cupboard. The piece has been constructed from re claimed wood and old doors from India. It’s always such a great bonus when something so beautiful has a back story, don’t you think!?
